Independent living simply means you are fully capable of living on your own with out assistance.

2. What is the age requirements to reside at The Montclare?
You must be at least 55 years of age to live at The Montclare.

3. Is there an income limit?
Yes, to qualify for residency the income limits are:
For a Single person, it is a maximum of $31,680
For Two People, it is a maximum of $36,180

4. Are pets allowed?
Yes, you can have birds, one cat, or dog with the dog weighing less than twenty five pounds. A pet deposit and pet agreement are also required.

5. Is The Montclare a subsidized facility?
No, not in the strictest sense. The rent is designed to be more affordable than similar market rate apartments in the area. This is the reason for the income limits.

6. Are there adequate provisions for the disabled?
Yes, all the common areas of the building are completely handicapped accessible. There are also a limited number of handicapped apartments designed to accommodate a wheelchair.

7. What amount of security deposit is required?
The security deposit is one months rent, which is the same as most apartments.

8. To what extent is there Social Programming at The Montclare?
There is extensive Social Programming at The Montclare. Here are just just a few examples of activities for our residents:
